Job summary

OReilly Hospitality Management, LLC is hiring a Hotel Restaurant Cook to join our culinary team at Cambria Hotel in Downtown Omaha. You will open and run the line, execute kitchen prep, and prepare meals to brand standards while maintaining quality and safety.

You will learn menus and recipes, manage multiple orders, and work with a collaborative team to deliver an excellent guest dining experience in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous cooking or food preparation experience preferred; willingness to learn will be considered.
• Basic knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling practices.
• Ability to follow recipes, prepare menu items, and maintain quality and consistency.
• Food handler certification required as applicable by local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Open the kitchen and restaurant each morning preparing and organizing the station and cooking all food necessary to start serving.
• Prepares all orders quickly and according to order; ensures food leaves the kitchen in peak condition.
• Learns menus, recipes, preparation, and presentation per brand specifications.
• Ensures proper storage and holding temperatures for all food.
• Prep food for lunch and for the next shift as required and directed.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work area in compliance with health regulations.
• Ensure smooth operation during shift changes and coordinate with supervisor.
