Qualifications

• Experience at a similarly sized hotel recommended.
• Ability to speak/read basic cooking directions.
• Ability to follow standardized recipes and plate presentation.
• Knowledge of food and beverage preparations, service standards and guest relations.
• Knowledge of proper table settings and service ware.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility in working hours.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and garnish all food orders per menu specifications.
• Prepare sauces, soups and hot entrees per recipes.
• Assist in setting up for meals and forecasted covers.
• Coordinate with servers to ensure timely service.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and storage areas.
• Ensure food safety and quality standards are met.
• Support chefs to control food costs and waste per SOP.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management to ensure guest satisfaction.
