Job summary

Cliff House Maine is seeking hospitality staff to join the housekeeping department in Cape Neddick, ME. You will monitor and maintain the availability of linens and towels and coordinate with other departments to ensure daily operation needs are met.

Both part-time and full-time openings exist with a pay range of $18.50 to $22 per hour. The role requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed, in a busy resort environment.

Qualifications

• Experience helpful but training provided
• Understanding of cleaning techniques and chemical handling
• Ability to stand for long periods and work with others
• Flexibility with work days, nights, weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain safety, cleanliness, sanitation and organization of laundry facilities, equipment, and storage areas
• Remove torn or stained linen from circulation for reclaim or discard according to standards
• Maintain knowledge of proper maintenance and use of equipment
• Follow procedures for handling, cleaning, disposing of, or moving objects/materials and hazardous materials according to OSHA standards
• Report damages or maintenance problems promptly
