Job summary

Lodgco is seeking a Laundry Attendant at the Hampton Inn Midland in Midland, MI. The role involves operating all aspects of the hotel laundry area, including sorting, washing, drying and storage of linens.

Nights or weekends may be required as the position supports hotel operations. The successful candidate will follow MIOSHA safety procedures, maintain a clean workspace, and assist with basic housekeeping as needed.

Qualifications

• Laundry/hotel experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Sort linens into groups and manage load sizes
• Clean washers and dryers; check drums and replenish cleaners
• Remove, fold and store linens appropriately
• Follow proper curing process for linens
• Log discarded linen on the discard sheet
• Keep work areas, break room and employee bathroom clean
• Follow MIOSHA safety procedures
• Stock shelves and inform supervisor of shortages
• Assist housekeepers with delivering soiled linens
• Report equipment breakdowns promptly
• Provide highest quality of service to guests
• Adhere to key control procedures
• Report unusual occurrences to supervisor
• Attend staff meetings
