Job summary

Midas Hospitality is seeking a dependable Laundry Attendant to join our housekeeping team. This role ensures a consistent supply of clean linens and proper laundry operations to support guest experiences across our hotel.

You will manage daily tasks, operate laundry equipment, monitor inventory, and adhere to safety procedures. A flexible schedule including weekends may be required; hospitality experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Previous laundry, housekeeping, hospitality, manufacturing, cleaning, or related experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and quality.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and properly handle cleaning chemicals and laundry equipment.

Responsibilities

• Collect, transport, inspect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and properly store hotel linens, towels, and other laundry items.
• Operate washers, dryers, ironing equipment, and other laundry machinery according to manufacturer guidelines and hotel procedures.
• Inspect linens for stains, damage, and quality concerns and follow proper procedures for treatment, washing, and replacement recommendations.
• Maintain appropriate linen inventory levels and communicate supply needs to Housekeeping leadership.
• Monitor and maintain automatic chemical and detergent dispensing systems and report inventory needs or equipment concerns.
• Clean lint traps, laundry machines, work areas, storage spaces, and equipment according to established safety schedules.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laundry environment.
• Report maintenance concerns involving laundry equipment or hotel facilities to leadership or Engineering.
• Follow all safety procedures, chemical handling guidelines, and company operating standards.
• Support Housekeeping operations with additional cleaning, linen delivery, and department projects as needed.
• Work efficiently to meet daily laundry production goals and support overall hotel operations.
