Job summary

Hampton Inn & Suites is seeking a Laundry Attendant to maintain clean, organized laundry operations for guest rooms and hotel linens. You will wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens while following brand standards and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel, housekeeping, laundry, or related experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Reliable, punctual, and dependable.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced hotel environment.
• Must maintain a positive and professional attitude toward guests and team members.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial washers, dryers, irons, and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Sort soiled linens, towels, washcloths, sheets, pillowcases, and other hotel laundry according to type, color, and washing requirements.
• Wash, dry, fold, and organize all hotel linens while following proper chemical and equipment procedures.
• Inspect linens for stains, damage, excessive wear, or other quality concerns.
• Rewash stained or improperly cleaned items when necessary.
• Deliver clean linens to designated storage areas and housekeeping closets.
• Keep the laundry room clean, organized, and free of clutter at all times.
• Follow all chemical handling, OSHA, safety, and hotel procedures.
