Crown Hotel & Travel Management, LLC is hiring a Hotel Laundry Attendant in Weaverville, NC. This role supports guest room upkeep by handling linens, operating laundry equipment, and folding laundry to hotel standards. Part-time or full-time positions are available with training provided.

The successful candidate will maintain high personal hygiene, follow safety procedures, and assist the housekeeping team to ensure a clean, welcoming guest environment at the property.

Qualifications

• Linen handling and care according to hotel standards.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds repeatedly.
• Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and appearance.

Responsabilités

• Strip dirty linen from guest rooms.
• Sort linens for washer.
• Remove stains and dispose of linen properly.
• Operate washers and dryers and manage chemicals safely.
• Fold linens to hotel standards and keep stock organized.
• Wash bed wraps, duvets, mattress pads, and blankets.
• Keep laundry area neat and clean.
• Assist housekeepers with room cleanliness as needed.
• Report damage or defects in laundry equipment or rooms.
• Notify supervisor of any hazardous conditions.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Assist with stripping of dirty linen from the guest rooms as needed
• Sort linens for washer
• Remove stains from badly soiled linen
• Dispose of linen and terry properly
• Operate washers and dryers properly as well as ensuring that the correct chemicals (and amounts) are being used
• Fold linens to hotel standards and keep stock organized designated places
• Wash bed wraps, duvets, mattress pads, and blankets in accordance with hotel standards
• Keep laundry area neat and clean
• Assist housekeepers in the cleanliness of the hotel room if needed
• Assist with cleaning and up-keeping of storage areas
• Report immediately all damage found in in laundry room or with equipment
• Notify Executive Housekeeper of any damage to roll-aways or cribs in rooms
• All other duties assigned

Qualifications/requirements

• Wear a provided uniform and nametag at all times on the property
• Must be able to frequently kneel, reach, crawl, and twist torso as needed to accomplish required tasks
• Must be able to regularly lift and carry up to 20 pounds without assistance
• Must be able to perform repetitive movements when cleaning and folding
• To always maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and appearance
