Job summary

Crown Hotel & Travel Management, LLC is seeking a Hotel Laundry Attendant in Wilmington, DE. The role supports housekeeping operations by processing linen and maintaining washroom areas.

This full-time/part-time position requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 20 pounds, and attention to hygiene standards. Training and benefits are provided, including medical, dental, PTO and a positive company culture.

Qualifications

• Must be able to frequently kneel, reach, crawl, and twist torso to perform tasks.
• Must be able to regularly lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
• Must maintain high standard of personal hygiene and appearance.
• Wear a provided uniform and nametag at all times on the property.

Responsibilities

• Assist with stripping of dirty linen from the guest rooms as needed.
• Sort linens for washer.
• Remove stains from badly soiled linen.
• Dispose of linen and terry properly.
• Operate washers and dryers properly as well as ensuring that the correct chemicals (and amounts) are being used.
• Fold linens to hotel standards and keep stock organized designated places.
• Wash bed wraps, duvets, mattress pads, and blankets in accordance with hotel standards.
• Keep laundry area neat and clean.
• Assist housekeepers in the cleanliness of the hotel room if needed.
• Assist with cleaning and up-keeping of storage areas.
• Report immediately all damage found in in laundry room or with equipment.
• Notify Executive Housekeeper of any damage to roll-aways or cribs in rooms.
• All other duties assigned.
