Job summary

Crown Hotel & Travel Management, LLC. seeks a Hotel Laundry Attendant in Emerald Isle, NC. You will assist with linen stripping, sorting, washing, and folding to meet hotel standards, supporting housekeeping to maintain clean, well-supplied guest rooms.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds regularly.
• Frequent kneeling, reaching, crawling, and twisting as needed.
• Maintain high personal hygiene and neat appearance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with stripping dirty linen from guest rooms.
• Sort linens for washer.
• Remove stains from linens.
• Dispose of linen and towels properly.
• Operate washers and dryers and use chemicals correctly.
• Fold linens to hotel standards and stock supplies.
• Wash bed wraps, duvets, mattress pads, and blankets.
• Keep laundry area neat and clean.
• Assist housekeepers with room cleanliness when needed.
• Assist with storage areas upkeep.

Responsibilities

• Assist with stripping of dirty linen from the guest rooms as needed
• Sort linens for washer
• Remove stains from badly soiled linen
• Dispose of linen and terry properly
• Operate washers and dryers properly as well as ensuring that the correct chemicals (and amounts) are being used
• Fold linens to hotel standards and keep stock organized designated places
• Wash bed wraps, duvets, mattress pads, and blankets in accordance with hotel standards
• Keep laundry area neat and clean
• Assist housekeepers in the cleanliness of the hotel room if needed
• Assist with cleaning and up-keeping of storage areas
• Report immediately all damage found in in laundry room or with equipment
• Notify Executive Housekeeper of any damage to roll-aways or cribs in rooms
• All other duties assigned

Qualifications/requirements

• Wear a provided uniform and nametag at all times on the property
• Must be able to frequently kneel, reach, crawl, and twist torso as needed to accomplish required tasks
• Must be able to regularly lift and carry up to 20 pounds without assistance
• Must be able to perform repetitive movements when cleaning and folding
• To always maintain a high standard of personal hygiene and appearance
