LBA Hospitality in San Antonio, TX is hiring a Utility Worker/Dishwasher responsible for setting up the dishwashing station, washing and storing dishes, and supporting the kitchen team to deliver guest-ready service.

This on-site role requires the ability to stand for extended periods, follow sanitation procedures, and work flexible shifts; prior hotel/restaurant experience is preferred, with potential for daily pay options and employee benefits.

Qualifikationen

• Prior experience in a hotel, restaurant, hospital, residential, or care-facility environment preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Food-handler certification preferred at hire and may be required after employment.
• Knowledge of safe dishwashing procedures, cleaning chemicals, sanitation requirements, and proper equipment use.

Aufgaben

• Set up the dishwashing station, including the dish machine, presoak areas, and required chemical supplies.
• Wash, sanitize, organize, and properly store dishes, glassware, flatware, cookware, and kitchen utensils.
• Monitor chemical levels and water temperatures according to sanitation and equipment requirements.
• Operate and clean dishwashing equipment according to manufacturer instructions.
• Report equipment malfunctions, unsafe conditions, or required repairs promptly.
• Clean kitchen equipment and surfaces, including hoods, filters, steam tables, bus tables, carts, ovens, and grills.
• Maintain clean and organized kitchens, workstations, and storage areas.
• Follow productivity, sanitation, food-safety, security, and emergency procedures.
• Assist with meeting-room setup, guest requests, or other hotel support duties when assigned.
• Perform other related duties within the associate’s training and capabilities.
