Job summary

The Benson Hotel & Faculty Club in Aurora, Colorado, operated by Sage Restaurant Group, seeks a dishwashing associate to support both restaurant and kitchen operations with clean, sanitary ware.

Under general supervision, you will load and unload dish racks, operate the dishwashing machine, polish silverware, maintain cleanliness, and assist with health compliance in a fast-paced hotel dining environment.

Qualifications

• Must have basic knowledge of dishwashing.

Responsibilities

• Gathers all dirty dishware from tubs, rinses and stacks in dishracks, clears leftovers and trash.
• Loads full dishracks on belt and operates the automatic dishwasher per instructions.
• Loads dishwashing solutions into dispensers and regulates detergents output.
• Unloads clean dishes, inspects cleanliness, stacks in carts and shelves.
• Manually scrubs pots and pans, dries by hand, and puts away.
• Polishes silver, stainless steel, and pewter to present cleanware.
• Maintains dishwashing equipment per manufacturer instructions.
• Keeps dish room clean by sweeping, mopping, and organizing shelves.
• Mops floors and cleans work surfaces at end of shift as scheduled.
• Gathers trash from kitchen areas and empties into outside bins.
• Sweeps loading dock and kitchen entrances for safety.
• Performs other duties as assigned by management.
