Woodbury Corporation seeks a hotel cook to prepare dishes that delight hotel guests with taste, presentation and timely delivery. You will follow recipes, work with kitchen staff, and ensure quality in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include cooking with various utensils and equipment, maintaining sanitation, stocking ingredients, and collaborating with team to meet guest expectations and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Completion of high school or equivalent education is helpful but not required.
• Knowledge of cooking procedures and methods is helpful.
• Able to follow all sanitation procedures and policies.
• Good physical condition and stamina.
• Able to work well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Follows instructions in cooking and delivering well-prepared meals; uses various ingredients and cooking equipment; moves around the kitchen and multi-tasks.
• Prepares ingredients to use in cooking (chopping, peeling vegetables, cutting meat, etc.).
• Cooks food in various utensils and grillers; checks food while cooking to stir or turn; ensures great presentation by dressing dishes before they are served.
• Keeps a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen; ensures all food and other items are stored properly; checks quality of ingredients; monitors inventory and places orders as needed.
