Job summary

Hyatt Regency Salt Lake City is seeking an experienced HVACR Technician to join our Engineering team in a full‑service hotel environment. You will maintain and optimize commercial HVAC, refrigeration, kitchen and laundry equipment across a 24/7 operation.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years in large facilities, strong troubleshooting skills, and experience with BAS, electrical and building systems. This role supports guest satisfaction and operational excellence in a demanding hospitality setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience maintaining commercial HVACR systems in large facilities.
• Hotel engineering experience preferred.
• Experience with BAS and building controls is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and control systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance to maximize reliability and energy efficiency.
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical failures.
• Maintain kitchen and laundry equipment.
• Record maintenance activities and service requests.
• Monitor Building Automation Systems (BAS) and controls.
