Job summary

Hyatt Regency Salt Lake City is seeking an Overnight Mid-Level Engineer B for full-time at our downtown Salt Lake City hotel. You'll maintain and repair building systems, support kitchen, laundry, and mechanical equipment, and cover shifts as needed.

Candidates should have hotel engineering experience, strong communication and troubleshooting skills, a customer-service mindset, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Valid driver's license and flexible overnight/weekend shifts required.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel engineering experience is required.
• Strong communication skills required.
• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills required.
• Good customer skills are required.
• Must be comfortable working with minimal supervision.
• Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Must be a self-starter.
• An open and flexible schedule that requires overnight, weekend and holiday shifts.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair building systems including kitchen, laundry and mechanical equipment.
• Assist with shift coverage in other areas of Engineering as needed.
• Provide reliable, courteous service to hotel guests and staff.
