Job summary

Davidson Hospitality Group in Salt Lake City seeks an Engineer III to join our hotel engineering team, focusing on advanced maintenance, troubleshooting, and preventive care of hotel facilities, guest rooms, and mechanical systems.

The ideal candidate will have multi-trade expertise across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and refrigeration, plus the ability to read blueprints and uphold safety standards. A valid driver’s license and EPA/CFC certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years in hotel engineering or facilities maintenance.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Valid driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on hotel mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, refrigeration, and building systems.
• Diagnose and repair equipment including pumps, motors, boilers, air conditioning systems, appliances, and related components.
• Repair and maintain electrical systems, switches, outlets, lighting, televisions, internet devices, and other operational equipment.
• Perform plumbing repairs, including unclogging drains, repairing fixtures, and basic copper and PVC pipe repairs.
• Complete carpentry, drywall, painting, and finish-work repairs as needed.
• Maintain and repair landscaping irrigation systems and exterior property components.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
