Job summary

Valencia Hotel Group in San Jose, CA seeks a Human Resources Manager to oversee HR administration for the property. You will handle recruitment, onboarding, benefits, payroll, and labor relations.

The role reports to the General Manager with a dotted line to the Corporate Director of HR. Essential duties include HRIS maintenance, training and policy development, performance management, safety programs, and compliance with laws.

Qualifications

• Recruitment, onboarding, and HR administration across the hotel.
• Policy development and benefits/payroll administration.
• Labor relations and compliance with state/federal laws.
• Experience with HRIS and payroll systems.

Responsibilities

• Recruitment, onboarding, and integration of management and hourly staff.
• Assist with policy development and benefits programs.
• Administer workers' compensation and safety programs.
• Maintain HRIS data and personnel files.
• Guide managers on employment practices and laws.
