Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites Spartanburg Downtown is seeking a dependable Housekeeping Supervisor to lead the housekeeping team and maintain a clean, welcoming environment for guests.

The role oversees daily housekeeping assignments, inspects rooms and public areas, trains staff, and coordinates with other departments to ensure rooms are ready for arriving guests. This full-time position requires strong organization and clear communication, with weekend/holiday availability.

Qualifications

• Prior supervisory or lead role in housekeeping preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot cleanliness issues.
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and safe chemical handling.
• Clear communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to prioritize and adapt to staffing changes.
• Lead by example and provide constructive feedback.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily housekeeping assignments based on occupancy and priorities.
• Inspect guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas for cleanliness and brand standards.
• Train and coach housekeeping staff on procedures and safety.
• Monitor room readiness and communicate updates to front desk.
• Report maintenance concerns and coordinate with maintenance.
• Respond to guest requests professionally and promptly.
• Maintain housekeeping carts, storage areas, and linen closets.
• Support cleaning and laundry operations as needed.
