Job summary

Hotel Zoso, part of Columbia Hospitality, Inc., seeks a Housekeeping Supervisor to lead day-to-day housekeeping operations with a focus on guest satisfaction and room standards. You will train, schedule, and coach staff, monitor budgets, and uphold safety and cleanliness across guestrooms and public areas.

This role offers an hourly pay rate of $20.00, commuter/parking allowance, paid time off, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401K, and a culture that values fresh perspectives and growth

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years housekeeping experience in a similar environment.
• Prior housekeeping lead/supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand Spanish and English.
• General management skills, including planning and organizing, decision making, problem solving, and delivery of results.
• Financial management skills, including budget management and expense control.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the Housekeeping department.
• Develops and implements procedures to ensure housekeeping activities meet standards and goals.
• Conducts daily inspections of guestrooms, front of house areas, storage rooms and back of house areas.
• Assists in managing the departmental budget; monitors revenue, expenses and labor costs.
• Reports unsafe conditions; ensures equipment is properly maintained and used.
• Maintains equipment and inventory levels per property requirements.
• Advises guests, clients and staff on housekeeping matters.
• Evaluates guest complaints to plan corrective actions.
• Communicates updates and changes with all departments.
• Ensures security of supplies, equipment and inventory.
