Job summary

Tru by Hilton- The Colony is seeking a Housekeeper-Hotel Hospitality to supervise housekeeping and laundry operations, ensuring the facility remains clean, orderly, and well-maintained.

The role involves assigning rooms, training staff, managing PAR levels, inventory, and coordinating with the Front Office Manager to uphold hotel standards and guest satisfaction. Flexibility to work varied shifts is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise housekeeping and laundry operations to ensure quality standards are met
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organization in guest rooms, corridors, and public areas
• Assign rooms and duties to housekeeping staff and provide direction, supervision, and support
• Maintain and monitor PAR levels and submit monthly linen and terry inventory reports
• Assist with recruitment and staffing within the housekeeping department
• Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure furnishings, equipment, and linens are clean and in good repair
• Oversee the ordering, receiving, counting, and storage of linens, bathroom supplies, cleaning materials, and equipment
• Respond to guest complaints, requests, or maintenance concerns and communicate them to the Front Office Manager or General Manager
• Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments
• Maintain high product quality and service standards for all hotel guests
• Ensure guest satisfaction at all times
• Maintain flexibility to work varying schedules to meet operational needs
