Job summary

Melrosehoteldc in Dallas is seeking a dedicated housekeeping supervisor to oversee the Dallas Marriott Suites Medical/Market Center, managing 265 suites and in-house laundry. You’ll lead housekeeping staff, ensure guest room quality, and coordinate daily operations to deliver exceptional experiences for our guests.

The role requires strong teamwork, flexibility for nights, weekends and holidays, and the ability to work in an office environment with lifting as needed.

Qualifications

• FSPMS experience preferred.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• Strong team orientation and guest-focused service.
• Prolonged desk work and computer use.
• Physical ability to lift 10–25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Schedule, evaluate and direct housekeeping staff.
• Coach and counsel associates including disciplinary action when necessary.
• Coordinate daily activities and plan for staffing to clean guest rooms and public areas.
• Review Manager on Duty log and follow up where needed.
• Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure quality assurance standards are met.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and cleaning materials.
• Supervise daily operations of housekeeping and in-house laundry.
• Interview, hire and train new housekeeping team members.
