Job summary

Dallas Marriott Suites Medical/Market Center is seeking a Hands-on Housekeeping Supervisor to lead the housekeeping team, schedule and direct room attendants, and maintain our high cleanliness standards for guest rooms and public areas. You will coach staff, handle disciplinary issues when needed, hire and train new team members, and coordinate daily activities to ensure sufficient staffing.

The role requires a strong work ethic, teamwork, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• FSPMS Experience
• High work ethic and self-initiative
• May be required to work varying schedules to include nights, weekends, and holidays
• Strong teamwork and guest-focused service

Responsibilities

• Schedule, evaluate and direct all housekeeping associates, including room attendants, house aides, floor supervisors and laundry associates
• Coach and counsel associates, providing disciplinary action when necessary
• Help coordinate daily activities and plan sufficient staffing to clean guest rooms and public areas
• Review the Manager on Duty log and follow up where needed
• Inspect guest rooms and public areas daily to ensure the quality assurance program is followed
• Ensure inventory of supplies and cleaning materials is maintained
• Supervise the daily operation of housekeeping and in-house laundry
• Interview, hire and train new housekeeping team members
