Job summary

Sonesta International Hotels Corporation is seeking a House Attendant in our San Francisco area hotels to assist the Housekeeping Management Team. You will transport linens, assist Room Attendants, and help with laundry and public areas, with projects assigned by the Housekeeping Manager.

Responsibilities include delivering linens, cleaning floors and closets, responding to guest requests, and ensuring safety and cleanliness across designated areas. Morning/evening shifts and holidays required.

Qualifications

• Some previous housekeeping experience preferred.
• Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English is preferred.
• Frequently standing up, bending, climbing, kneeling, and moving about the facility.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on the promise of Sonesta Service in all interactions with guests and clients according to the Sonesta GUEST standards.
• Work with Room Attendants with heavy items such as mattresses and linens.
• Deliver linens and other supplies to Room Attendants.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of floor closets and corridors.
• Respond to guests’ requests in a timely and efficient manner.
• Clean other designated areas such as public restrooms and storage rooms.
• Report needed repairs or unsafe conditions to supervisor.
• Promote teamwork and coordinate with other shifts and management.
