Job summary

DoubleTree by Hilton Monrovia Pasadena is seeking an Executive Housekeeper to lead housekeeping and laundry operations, ensuring guest rooms and public areas meet brand standards for cleanliness, safety, and appearance while delivering an outstanding guest experience. This role reports to the General Manager.

You will interview, hire, train, coach, schedule, and evaluate staff, manage labor hours to budget, monitor safety and sanitation, and coordinate with Engineering and Front Desk.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of hotel housekeeping management or supervisory experience.
• Ability to lead, train, and motivate a diverse team.
• Working knowledge of budgeting, labor scheduling, and inventory control.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem solving skills.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily housekeeping and laundry operations across guest rooms and public areas.
• Interview, train, schedule, and evaluate team members and supervise discipline when needed.
• Prepare schedules and room assignments based on occupancy and budget labor hours.
• Inspect spaces for cleanliness, safety, and condition, correcting deficiencies with the team.
• Respond to guest requests and follow up to ensure satisfaction.
• Track guest satisfaction and cleanliness scores and drive improvements.
• Manage inventory, linens, chemicals, and supplies and place orders on time.
• Coordinate with Engineering and Front Desk on maintenance and room status.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and wage-hour compliance with California requirements.
