Job summary

Aimbridge Hospitality is seeking a Housekeeping Manager for Sheraton Minneapolis Downtown. You will oversee the entire Housekeeping Department, including rooms, front/back of house, public areas, and laundry, ensuring operations meet Aimbridge Hospitality standards.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive hospitality experience, and the ability to manage staff in a fast-paced hotel environment. Overtime applies as needed to meet responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years progressive hotel experience or 2-year degree with 3+ years related experience.
• Supervisory experience required.
• Must be proficient in Windows operating systems and basic office software.
• Must have a valid driver's license for the applicable state.
• Must communicate clearly and effectively.
• Must evaluate options quickly and accurately.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations.
• Maintain composure under pressure.
• Strong problem-solving and data interpretation skills.
• Excellent listening and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the Housekeeping Department across rooms, public areas, and laundry.
• Maintain attendance and adhere to brand standards.
• Ensure compliance with safety, training, and SOPs.
• Schedule staff and manage payroll reporting.
• Balance room status and ensure guest privacy.
• Conduct monthly department meetings and employee appraisals.
• Train and develop managers and staff.
• Oversee supply orders, purchasing, and inventories.
• Respond to guest requests and emergencies professionally.
• Coordinate with other departments for guest satisfaction.
