Job summary

Hyatt Valencia is seeking a Housekeeping Inspector to supervise Room Attendants and inspect guestrooms, bathrooms, corridors, and lobbies. The role ensures high cleanliness standards and coordination with other hotel departments.

You will assign tasks, train staff, address guest concerns, and manage supplies and equipment. A background check is required, and a high school diploma is preferred.

Qualifications

• At least 2–3 years of housekeeping experience.
• Background check required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Assign work to Room Attendants and train associates in housekeeping duties; may perform cleaning duties.
• Inspect guestrooms, bathrooms, corridors, and lobbies.
• Address guests’ complaints regarding housekeeping service or equipment.
• Write requisitions for room supplies and renovations or replacements.
• Examine carpets, drapes and furniture for stains, damage, or wear.
• Check and count linens and supplies; aid budget control through supervision of linen use.
• Record inspection results and notify cleaning personnel of inadequacies.
• Coordinate with other hotel departments on problems needing attention.
• Greet guests in a friendly and warm manner.
• Other duties as assigned.
