Job summary

Excel Hotel Group is seeking a Housekeeping Houseperson to support daily hotel operations in San Diego. This role involves cleaning and maintaining public areas inside and outside the hotel, delivering guest amenities, and assisting with guest room cleaning on request.

Responsibilities include stocking, responding to calls, and ensuring cleanliness across corridors, rooms, and pool areas. The position suits someone with 1–2 years of related experience who can handle physical duties and follow

Qualifications

• 1-2 years related work experience.
• Ability to stand and walk for 8 hours per day.
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
• Must follow verbal directions and complete tasks on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Approaches all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Complies with company, hotel, and brand standards which encourage a safe and efficient hotel operation.
• Completes all stocking and organizational duties, including stocking guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for housekeeping cart setup.
• Carries a communication device and responds to all calls.
• Delivers guest requests (e.g., extra towels, amenities) to guest rooms.
• Removes trash and debris from corridors, public areas, parking lot, pool area, etc.
• Keeps rooms, closets, halls, and public areas clean, neat, and vacuumed, including pool area and public restrooms.
