Job summary

Excel Hotel Group is seeking a Housekeeping Houseperson (day or night shift) to maintain cleanliness of public areas inside and outside the hotel, deliver amenities, assist with guest rooms on request, and help with laundry. The role requires standing/walking up to 8 hours, lifting up to 50 lbs, and following instructions.

This position involves monitoring indoor corridors and outside premises, and may involve responding to guest complaints and requests with a professional, courteous demeanor.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years related work experience.
• Ability to stand and walk for 8 hours in a day.
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to follow verbal directions and complete tasks on schedule.

Responsibilities

• Approaches all encounters with guests and employees in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Complies with company, hotel, and brand standards for safe, efficient operation.
• Completes stocking and organizational duties (supplies, linen, cleaning products).
• Carries a communication device and responds to calls.
• Delivers guest requests (towels, amenities) to rooms.
• Removes trash/debris from corridors, public areas, parking lot, pool area, etc.
• Keeps rooms, closets, hallways, and public areas clean, neat, and vacuumed.
