Job summary

Extended Stay America in Peoria, IL is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to clean guest rooms and uphold company standards. You will ensure carts and laundry areas meet standards, stock supplies, and promptly report maintenance or guest property issues to the front desk.

The role supports guest satisfaction through cleanliness and friendly service. Responsibilities include assisting with other areas as needed, adhering to safety policies, and completing required training.

• Apply good judgment at all times.

Responsibilities

• Cleans assigned guest rooms according to company standards.
• Maintains housekeeping carts, cart rooms and laundry areas.
• Stocks carts and cart rooms as directed by management.
• Reports maintenance issues to front desk and/or manager on duty.
• Reports any remaining guest property in a check-out room to front desk/manager.
• Assists guest requests whenever possible and practical.
• Follows safety and security policies and procedures.
• Completes required Extended Stay University training.
• Assists with cleaning other areas of the hotel as assigned.
• Maintains overall hotel cleanliness and performs other duties as assigned.
