Job summary

Extended Stay America, Polaris - Columbus is seeking a Housekeeper to clean guest rooms in accordance with company guidelines. You will maintain carts, stock rooms, and report maintenance or guest-property issues to the front desk or manager on duty.

The role emphasizes guest service, teamwork, and completing Extended Stay University training. You may assist in other areas of the hotel and must uphold safety and cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates and promotes a strong commitment to providing the best possible experience for our guests and associates.
• Cleans assigned guest rooms with adherence to company standards, policies and procedures.
• Maintains housekeeping carts, cart rooms and laundry areas to company standards.
• Stocks carts and cart rooms as needed or directed by management.
• Reports maintenance issues and guest property left in rooms to the front desk and manager on duty.
• Assists with guest requests when possible and practical.
• Follows safety and security policies and completes required Extended Stay University training.
• Assists with cleaning other areas of the hotel as assigned and maintains overall hotel cleanliness.
