Job summary

Wind Creek Hospitality is seeking a Hotel Housekeeping Supervisor to ensure guestrooms and common areas meet AAA standards and guest expectations. You will lead shifts, conduct inspections, and coordinate with other departments to maintain quality and safety.

The role requires leadership experience, a related degree or equivalent supervisory background, and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays in a fast-paced setting. Competitive pay and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 21+ years old.
• High School diploma or GED required or enrolled to complete GED within 6 months.
• Associate’s Degree in related field required.
• OR 2 years supervisory experience required.
• OR 1 year as Dual-Rate Supervisor in a Wind Creek Hospitality Department required.
• OR 2 years of experience in the department you hire for required.
• 2 years of experience in Hotel Housekeeping preferred.
• Must pass interview with guest service audition.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs.
• Good writing and verbal communication skills.
• Stand and walk for entire shift.
• Able to work in fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Operate standard office equipment.
• Be in good physical condition and pass fitness test.
• Willing to travel and participate in training.
• Willing to work odd hours including nights, weekends, holidays.
• Must have Occupational License under Illinois Gaming Act and stay in good standing.

• Ensures adequate vacant/clean/inspected rooms throughout the day.
• Generates shift reports with key hotel statistics and incidents.
• Promotes safety to limit accidents and injuries.
• Grants PTO and conducts Team Member evaluations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older
• High School diploma or GED required or currently enrolled and successfully complete a GED program within 6 months from start date as a condition of continued employment
• Associate’s Degree in Related field– required
• OR Two (2) years’ Supervisory experience– required
• OR One (1) year experience as a Dual-Rate Supervisor in a Wind Creek Hospitality Department- required
• OR Two (2) years’ experience in the hiring position’s Department– required
• Two (2) years of experience in Hotel Housekeeping– preferred
• Must successfully pass job interview, including a guest service audition
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Good writing and verbal communication skills required (skills test may be administered)
• Must be able to stand and walk for entire shift
• Must be able to work effectively in a fast paced, high volume environment
• Must be able to operate standard office equipment – phones, computers, etc.
• Must be in good physical condition and able to pass a physical fitness test
• Willing to travel and participate in training as recommended or required
• Willing and able to work odd or irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must have an Occupational License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license) pursuant to the Illinois Gaming Act and remain in good standing with the Illinois Gaming Board as a requirement for this position

Base Pay

• Compensation: $18.45 - $25.00 per hour, with starting pay based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and skills.
