Job summary

Extended Stay America in Skokie, IL is seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain clean guest rooms and common areas in accordance with our brand standards. You will be responsible for delivering a welcoming experience by ensuring cleanliness and order throughout the property.

You will stock supplies, report maintenance needs, and help create a comfortable environment for guests while following safety policies and completing required training to support the team.

Qualifications

• Understand and follow instructions, policies, and guidelines.
• Follow guidelines, adhere to time objectives, productivity measurements and company standards.
• Apply good judgment at all times.

Responsibilities

• Cleans assigned guest rooms in accordance with company standards.
• Maintains housekeeping carts, cart rooms and laundry areas to standard.
• Stocks carts and cart rooms as directed by management.
• Reports maintenance issues to front desk and manager on duty.
• Reports guest property left in rooms to front desk and manager on duty.
• Assists with guest requests when possible and practical.
• Follows safety and security policies and completes training.
• Assists with cleaning other hotel areas as assigned (breakroom, laundry, fitness room, etc).
• Maintains overall hotel cleanliness and performs other duties as required by management.
