Job summary

The Residence Inn Seattle University District is seeking a Housekeeping/Room Attendant to maintain guest rooms and assist with daily cleaning tasks. This role is primarily daytime with some flexibility for start times and end times.

Qualifications

• Greet guests with a smile and eye contact
• Stand for long periods
• Push, pull, lift up to 25 lbs
• Respond promptly to guest requests
• Follow safety procedures
• Follow company uniform standards
• Report unsafe work practices

Responsibilities

• Enter guest rooms using proper procedures
• Stock housekeeping cart with supplies and linens
• Replace supplies used by guests in rooms
• Replace dirty linen and towels with clean items
• Make beds/change bed linen per brand standards
• Clean guest bathrooms with proper chemicals and safety procedures
• Empty and clean trash cans and replace liners
• Dust and wipe all surfaces
• Vacuum carpets and report stains or wear
• Report missing or damaged items to manager or supervisor
• Turn in lost and found items to appropriate personnel
• Report maintenance issues or room odor to proper personnel
