Job summary

Reside is seeking a Housekeeper in Seattle to maintain cleanliness of guest rooms and public areas in line with hospitality standards. You will help ensure guest satisfaction by delivering a clean, welcoming, and safe environment that supports the hotel’s reputation.

Hours are 9:00am–6:00pm, with shifts varying and potential holidays or alternate scheduling as needed. Reside offers competitive pay and comprehensive benefits as part of a global hospitality brand.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year hospitality experience is a plus.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior housekeeping or janitorial experience in a hotel or hospitality setting preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Clean, dust, and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and public spaces following established procedures and checklists.
• Make beds, replace linens, and replenish guest amenities such as towels, toiletries, and beverages.
• Sweep, vacuum, mop, and polish floors as needed.
• Inspect rooms for maintenance issues and report to supervisor.
• Follow proper chemical handling and cleaning supply usage guidelines.
• Maintain housekeeping carts and storage areas in a clean, organized, and stocked condition.
• Comply with health, safety, and sanitation regulations and hotel policies.
• Greet guests warmly and assist when appropriate, maintaining professional courtesy.
• Respond to guest requests promptly and escalate when necessary.
