Job summary

Hampton Inn & Suites Seattle-Airport/28th Ave is hiring a Guest Service Representative at SeaTac. You will greet guests, manage check-in/check-out, and assist with reservations via in-person, email, and phone.

The role emphasizes friendly service, accuracy in handling transactions, and strong knowledge of local area information. The position requires weekend/holiday availability, solid computer skills (MS Office), and a customer-focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Minimum customer service experience preferred.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to type 40+ wpm.
• Willingness to learn new web applications.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and complete standard check-in procedures for arriving guests daily, using both manual and computerized methods ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Courteously answer inquiries and accept reservations, in person, through email and telephone calls, and help guests with directions and area activities.
• Control and record financial transactions at the front desk.
• Maintain good customer relations by staying informed of all in-house and area functions to answer questions with timely, knowledgeable responses.
• Maintain a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
• Contribute and maintain information sources to enhance department communications and operations.
• Aide other associates and departments to contribute to the best overall performance of the department and the hotel.
• Ensure safety by following safety and sanitation procedures and reporting suspicious activity.
