Job summary

Gale Hotel Miami is seeking a Security Officer to safeguard guests, employees and visitors. You will enforce hotel policies, monitor entrances, conduct safety inspections, and respond to emergencies to protect property.

You will operate door locks, safes, CCTV, and coordinate with local authorities when needed. The role requires clear English communication, high school education, and a proactive, customer-friendly approach to safety.

Qualifications

• High School completion or higher education preferable.
• Minimum 1 year experience as a security officer in a hotel preferred.
• Ability to speak and read English clearly.

Responsibilities

• Enforce all rules, policies and Gale Hotel Standards.
• Protect property from theft, misuse and vandalism.
• Respond to medical emergencies and emergencies requiring police or fire services.
• Conduct security/safety related investigations and report promptly.
• Monitor CCTV and control access for guests and staff.
• Patrol the property and assist guests with information and directions.
• Assist with safety inspections and daily log maintenance.
