Job summary

Avion Hospitality seeks a Complimentary Attendant to deliver high-quality guest service within the hotel’s complimentary food and beverage area. Requires a positive attitude, knowledge of hotel standards, and ability to handle fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, serving beverages, assisting with side work, and coordinating with other departments to fulfill VIP requests and special needs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent; hotel experience preferred.
• Ability to work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must meet legal age to serve alcohol and pass TIPs as required.
• Food Handlers card as required by jurisdiction.
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly.
• Knowledge of hotel products and guest services.
• Positive attitude and willingness to assist others.
• Basic knowledge of beverages and service standards.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic.
• Effective communication with guests and staff.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests promptly at tables.
• Provide warm, courteous beverage and food service.
• Maintain attendance and adhere to standards.
• Ensure menus are clean and presentable.
• Keep bar and service areas stocked and organized.
• Respond to guest requests and special needs.
• Assist with dishwashing and side work.
• Answer phones according to hotel standards.
• Know hotel and local area attractions to assist guests.
• Perform opening/closing and cash handling duties.
• Coordinate with departments for VIPs and requests.
• Follow safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Attend meetings as required by management.
