Job summary

OHM in Aurora, CO, is seeking an Executive Meeting Manager for an on-site role. You will proactively solicit, negotiate, book, and detail group room blocks and catering events to maximize hotel revenue, guiding groups from inquiry to event execution and ensuring an exceptional client experience.

Responsibilities include cultivating relationships with existing accounts, conducting outside calls, meeting revenue goals for rooms and catering, and collaborating with the Sales team to ensure flawless

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of general sales experience, hotel sales preferred.
• Requires a four-year degree related to sales and hospitality; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written; ability to analyze data and prepare figures.
• Strong administrative skills including business writing; proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Solicit, negotiate, book, and detail group room blocks and catering events to maximize revenue.
• Manage lifecycle of group business from inquiry to event execution with exceptional client service.
• Cultivate relationships with existing accounts; encourage repeat business.
• Perform outside sales calls and prospecting with local businesses and partners to generate new opportunities.
• Meet or exceed revenue goals for rooms and catering; upsell group packages; drive profitability.
• Collaborate with Sales and operations to ensure seamless event planning and execution.
• Maintain accurate sales records and activity reports in the hotel’s sales system.
