Job summary

Paragon Hotel Company in Rock Hill, SC is seeking a part-time Houseman to keep our hotel facilities in excellent condition. You will perform janitorial tasks across the grounds, parking lot, public areas, and guest rooms, and assist room attendants and the maintenance team with routine tasks.

The role requires standing for long periods, ability to lift up to 60 pounds, strong attendance, and a professional, friendly demeanor. Work hours vary and may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a branded hotel preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must display professionalism and have characteristics of honesty and trustworthiness.
• Must have excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Able to stand for eight hours and perform heavy lifting (60 lb) as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain hotel grounds, public areas, and guest corridors to hotel standards.
• Assist room attendants to uphold cleanliness standards.
• Support maintenance with minor repairs and work orders.
• Perform janitorial tasks for grounds, parking lot, and stairs.
• Respond to guest requests promptly and professionally.
• Follow safety and emergency procedures.
