Job summary

Arbor Lodging seeks a General Manager to lead all hotel operations, oversee day-to-day staff management, and drive guest satisfaction as the brand ambassador for the property. The GM will provide leadership, strategic planning, and ensure profitability while maintaining a high standard of service.

The role requires 5+ years in progressive hotel roles, AGM experience preferred, and a bachelor’s degree in hotel management or related field.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive hotel experience in leadership roles.
• Strong management skills for large teams and cross-department coordination.
• Excellent communication, guest-service orientation, and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversees all hotel operations including front office, sales, housekeeping, HR, F&B, maintenance, and accounting.
• Lead by example to maintain a friendly, service-oriented environment for guests and staff.
• Ensure profitability, P&L management, and adherence to budget and financial targets.
• Maintain compliance with licensing, safety, and quality standards; manage audits and inspections.
• Drive staff development, training, and succession planning to deliver high guest satisfaction.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Business Admin, or similar field
