Crescent Hotels & Resorts seeks a General Manager to lead the DoubleTree by Hilton Newark Airport in Newark, NJ. You will oversee all hotel operations, drive guest satisfaction and financial performance, and develop a strong leadership team in a 24/7 full‑service hotel environment.

The role requires 3–5+ years of GM experience, strong F&B leadership, and a proven track record of delivering exceptional service and profitability.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of General Manager experience in a full‑service hotel environment.
• Demonstrated experience leading a hotel with significant food & beverage operations.
• Proven ability to lead a complex, fast‑paced operation while maintaining high standards for guest service and associate engagement.
• Strong financial and business acumen with demonstrated experience managing budgets, forecasts, P&L, labor, and profitability.
• Commercial mindset with understanding of sales, revenue management, market positioning, and competitive performance.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for all hotel aspects including rooms, F&B, sales, revenue, finance, and People & Culture.
• Build and inspire a high‑performing leadership team with engagement and accountability for service excellence.
• Drive hotel performance by balancing guest satisfaction, engagement, revenue growth, profitability, and asset stewardship.
• Understand financial performance including budgets, forecasts, P&L, labor, revenue trends, and cost controls.
• Partner with Sales, Revenue Management, and other leaders to maximize market share, occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and profitability.
• Oversee F&B operations ensuring service quality, financial performance, and guest satisfaction.
• Maintain a visible presence, ensuring service delivery, cleanliness, and guest experience.
• Recruit, develop, coach, and retain talented department leaders with clear performance standards.
• Foster relationships with Hilton, Crescent leadership, community partners, and stakeholders.
