Job summary

Aimbridge Hospitality is seeking a General Manager for a Courtyard by Marriott property in Jamaica, NY. You will oversee daily operations, drive revenue growth, and ensure exceptional guest experiences in a franchise hotel environment.

Responsibilities include leading teams, managing budgets and systems, and maintaining compliance with brand standards while delivering outstanding service to guests and owners alike.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of progressive hotel/related field experience, or a 4-year degree with 4–5 years related experience, or a 2-year degree with 5–6 years related experience.
• Valid driver’s license for the applicable state.

Responsibilities

• Lead operations and maximize financial results while maintaining top service levels and compliant practices.
• Develop and execute sales plans, manage budgets, and engage with large accounts to secure bookings.
• Master reports and systems to drive efficient decision-making and operational excellence.
• Deliver guest experiences that exceed expectations and resolve issues with a customer-first approach.
• Inspire, coach, and lead the team to build a high-performance work environment.
• Build strong relationships with owners, community leaders, and partners as the hotel’s ambassador.
