Extended Stay America in Portland, OR is seeking an experienced General Manager to oversee the operation of a single property, driving profitability, guest satisfaction and efficiency while maintaining company standards. You will lead a team of 8–10 staff and ensure adherence to company initiatives and policies.

Responsibilities include maximizing revenues, managing labor and expenses, building local market relationships, and promoting a 100% guest satisfaction culture across the team.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years related hospitality management experience required.
• 4-year degree highly preferred.
• Basic knowledge of computers and software including ability to use e-mail, word processing, and spreadsheet software.
• Ability to organize multiple projects; manage and prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversees, directs and manages property operations of a single property to assure optimum performance and continual improvement in KPI metrics.
• Maximizes revenues and flow-through to GOP to meet or exceed budgeted EBITDA.
• Manage labor standards and property level expenses to achieve maximum flow-through to the bottom line profit.
• Recruit and train staff in accordance with company standards.
• Build solid client relationships in the district and with hotel staff to increase visibility in the local market.
