The Residence Inn Kansas City Area, operated by KMG Hotels, seeks a Hotel General Manager to oversee all hotel operations on-site in Kansas City, MO. You will manage budgets, revenue strategies, and guest services, while leading a diverse team to uphold brand standards and regulatory compliance.

Daily duties include coaching staff, addressing guest concerns, reviewing performance metrics, and collaborating with corporate and ownership representatives for ongoing improvements in service quality

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skills in General Management and Business Management, including leadership, strategic planning, and operational oversight.
• Strong Customer Service abilities with a focus on guest satisfaction, conflict resolution, and effective communication.
• Experience with Budgeting, revenue management, and financial reporting to support profitability and cost control.
• Knowledge of Food & Beverage operations, including service standards, inventory management, and basic health and safety practices.
• Previous experience in hotel or hospitality management, preferably in an extended-stay or select-service environment.
• Ability to lead diverse teams, delegate effectively, and foster a positive, inclusive work culture.
• Proficiency with hotel management systems and basic office software.
• Relevant education such as a degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Flexibility to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays, as business needs require.
• Develop and retain talented individuals for the right roles

Responsabilités

• Oversee front office, housekeeping, F&B and maintenance operations to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Lead budget development, revenue strategies and cost controls.
• Review performance metrics and drive continuous improvement in service quality.
• Coach and develop team members, handle guest concerns, and coordinate with corporate/ownership.
