Job summary

SREE Hotels seeks an experienced General Manager for Embassy Suites by Hilton Charlotte, located in the LoSo area off Billy Graham Pkwy near CLT Airport. The GM will oversee operations, train staff, and ensure brand standards while driving profitability.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as Hotel General Manager (non-taskforce) required.
• 5+ years total experience as AGM/GM or taskforce manager.
• Experience with select-service and/or full-service hotels.
• Hilton brand experience preferred.
• Associate degree in Hospitality or related field; Bachelor’s preferred.
• Knowledge of operations including brand standards, F&B, HR, budgeting/forecasting, P&L and safety.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Excellent organization, planning and attention to detail.
• Proven ability to recruit, motivate and train staff.
• Ability to work with ownership and adapt to changing needs.
• Proficient in Microsoft products and tools.
• Availability to cover all shifts, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Interview, hire and train qualified staff to meet guest service standards.
• Provide vision to staff and promote brand standards.
• Schedule staff to drive guest satisfaction while maintaining profitability.
• Coach and mentor staff for high associate satisfaction.
• Process daily deposits and handle billing approvals as needed.
• Identify opportunities to drive incremental revenue during peak times.
• Conduct regular property inspections for cleanliness, maintenance and safety.
• Review audit reports and investigate abnormalities promptly.
• Give feedback in staff meetings on guest/associate scores and financial goals.
• Serve as a role model and maintain a positive work environment.
• Be flexible with hours and department coverage as schedules change.
• Adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Use interpersonal skills to resolve issues with staff and guests.
