Job summary

Raines Co. is building a hotel in York, South Carolina, seeking a hands-on General Manager to drive profitability, guest satisfaction and employee development from day one.

The role leads day-to-day operations across front office, F&B, housekeeping, maintenance, security and sales, with a strong emphasis on HR, cost control and capital improvements. A Hilton background is preferred and the company emphasizes training, vendor relations and brand standards.

Qualifications

• Prior GM/Operations/AGM experience, preferably with Hilton.
• Experience with brand PMS and POS systems; PEP experience highly desired.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 or similar computer applications.
• Minimum high school diploma, GED or equivalent; Bachelor’s preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day hotel operations and staff; communicate department strategies and goals.
• Recommend staffing actions in line with company policies and escalate issues as needed.
• Ensure staff are trained and have tools to perform their roles effectively.
• Assist in development and monitoring of financial and operational plans for the hotel; supervise front office, revenue, F&B, housekeeping, maintenance, security, sales, HR, accounting and procurement.
