Job summary

Westmont Hospitality Group seeks an experienced General Manager for the DoubleTree by Hilton Newark Penn Station hotel. The GM will lead all hotel operations, drive revenue, and ensure guest satisfaction and asset stewardship.

The ideal candidate has 5–7 years of leadership in a full-service hotel, with revenue management and F&B experience, plus strong strategic, financial, and people-management capabilities.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of hands-on leadership experience in a full-service environment.
• Strong sales and revenue management background.
• Food & beverage experience.
• Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, communication and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all hotel operations including front office, sales, housekeeping, F&B, and maintenance.
• Own budgeting, forecasting, yield and revenue management to meet financial goals.
• Drive sales activity, customer relationships and market share growth.
• Develop and execute business plans and marketing initiatives for the property.
• Ensure guest satisfaction and maintain high standards of service and safety.
• Mentor and develop direct reports; manage costs and vendor relationships.
