Hotel General Manager – Mid-Scale Hotel

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Hotel General Manager to oversee all aspects of operations for our mid-scale hotel. The ideal candidate will lead the team in delivering exceptional guest experiences while driving operational efficiency and financial success. This role requires strong leadership, attention to detail, and a results-oriented mindset to ensure the hotel’s continued growth and reputation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day hotel operations, ensuring smooth coordination across all departments, including front desk, housekeeping, maintenance, and food & beverage.
  • Guest Experience: Maintain high standards of service quality to exceed guest expectations, resolve guest complaints promptly, and create memorable guest experiences.
  • Financial Oversight: Develop and manage hotel budgets, monitor financial performance, and implement strategies to maximize revenue and control expenses.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and mentor staff to foster a motivated and professional team culture. Conduct regular performance evaluations and encourage career development.
  • Sales & Marketing: Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to drive occupancy rates and revenue through effective promotions and partnerships.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all local regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a General Manager, Assistant General Manager, or similar leadership role in the hotel industry.
  • Strong financial acumen, with experience in budget management and P&L analysis.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to inspire a team and maintain a guest-centric approach to operations.
