Job summary

Hilton Boca Raton Suites seeks a General Maintenance Individual to perform a variety of maintenance and repairs to keep the hotel functioning, clean, safe, and compliant with brand standards while delivering excellent guest service. Shifts are 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities include maintenance of guest rooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas; preventive maintenance; repairs in electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry and some HVAC; respond to guest

Qualifications

• General maintenance knowledge across trades (electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry)
• Ability to follow a task list and work independently or in a team
• Experience with safety and preventive maintenance practices

• Perform or assist in preventive maintenance of guest rooms, public areas and equipment
• Perform repairs in electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry and some HVAC
• Respond to guest calls and team member work orders promptly and professionally
• Conduct inspections for preventive maintenance and safety needs
• Respond to emergencies to return the building to normal operations

Description

The Hotel General Maintenance Individual will perform a variety of general maintenance and repairs to help maintain the hotel’s level of functionality, cleanliness, safety and security in compliance to company and brand standards while delivering exceptional customer service to our guests. General Maintenance Individual must able to work the PM shift of 3:00 - 11:30pm, including weekends and holidays.

Pay Rate: $23.50

Job Responsibilities

1. Maintain the physical functionally and safety of the hotel including, but not limited to guest rooms, public spaces and heart-of-house areas.

2. Performs or assists in preventive maintenance of guest rooms, pubic area and equipment

3. Performs various repairs and tasks involving electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry and some HVAC.

4. Respond to guest calls and team member work orders in timely, friendly, and efficient manner.

5. Conduct inspections for preventive maintenance and safety needs.

6. Respond to any emergency situation according to help return building back to normal operating status.

Qualifications

• Overall knowledge and experience in General Maintenance, Plumbing, Electrical, Painting and other Repair Skills
• Problem Solving Skills
• Ability to follow a list of tasks in a timely and efficient manner
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Able to stand and walk for a minimum of an 8 hour shift, able to constantly lift/move up to 10 pounds and frequently lifting/moving up to 50 pounds.
