Job summary

Hilton Boca Raton Suites is hiring a Hotel General Maintenance Individual to perform a variety of maintenance and repairs to uphold functionality, safety, and cleanliness while delivering exceptional guest service. The role requires PM shift 3:00 - 11:30pm, including weekends and holidays.

Pay rate is $23.50 per hour. The position involves maintaining guest rooms, public spaces and back-of-house areas, with opportunities for growth in a structured hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• General maintenance knowledge across electrical, plumbing, painting and repairs.
• Ability to follow a list of tasks efficiently.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Must be able to stand/walk 8 hours and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the hotel’s physical function and safety in guest rooms, public spaces and heart-of-house areas.
• Perform or assist in preventive maintenance of guest rooms, public areas and equipment.
• Perform various repairs and tasks involving electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry and some HVAC.
• Respond to guest calls and team member work orders in timely, friendly, and efficient manner.
• Conduct inspections for preventive maintenance and safety needs.
• Respond to emergencies to return the building to normal operations.
