A leading hotel in Tampa is seeking a Front Desk Agent to be the first point of contact for guests. This role involves multitasking and performing duties such as handling check-ins and check-outs, providing information about hotel amenities, and coordinating with housekeeping and maintenance. Ideal candidates will have a strong customer service focus and be available for flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
The Front Desk Agent is responsible for being the first point of contact as well as the first impression with guests, handling all stages of a guest’s stay which can include multitasking, and performing the following duties in a manner that reflects our hotel’s vision, mission, and core values. Responsibilities: • Balance cash at the end of the shift and generate accounting reports for the benefit of the next shift • Provide guests with information about hotel amenities, dining, and travel directions. • Handle guest check-ins, check-outs, and payment processing with accuracy. • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to address and resolve guest concerns promptly. • Operate hotel switchboard, take calls and provide information and transfer calls Qualifications: • Experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred but not required. • Proven customer service experience with a strong guest-focused mentality • Proficiency in internet software, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint • Availability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays. • Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Compensation: $13 - $15 hourly
